Potable Water Tanks

"Potable Water Tanks" are designed to safely store, transfer or dispense drinking water and other water mixtures intended for human ingestion. Normally constructed of either polyethylene, stainless steel or carbon steel with an interior lining, Potable Water Tanks must be constructed such that the tank material in contact with the water or water mixture will remain inert, and not chemically or physically react with potable water.

FMC Tamks offers stainless steel and carbon steel potable water tanks with FDA approved interior tank linings approved for potable water applications. Potable Water Tanks are available in sizes from 250 to 50,000 gallons and can be built to custom specifications or dimensions. Optional coatings are available for unique potable water applications including both high and low temperature/pressure applications. Custom tank equipment and configurations are available.
